The exhibition features 11 of Snøhetta’s significant projects via film, computer animation, photographs, drawings, architectural models, texts and an interactive multi-touch table.

SNØHETTA, architecture – landscapes – interiors was commissioned by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and will be officially opened by Ms Else Berit Eikeland, Royal Norwegian Ambassador to Canada. Craig Dykers, Snøhetta founding partner, and Eva Madshus, Senior Curator, of the National Museum, Oslo, will be in attendance at the opening reception.

Canadian pianist, Rebecca Leung, recently completed her Master of Music degree under the tutelage of Russian pedagogue Tanya Sarkissova at the Royal Academy of Music in London, England, graduating with Merit standing. Ms. Leung has also maintained an active teaching studio for over ten years, with students earning distinctive achievements in their examinations and various music festivals. Rebecca looks forward to upcoming solo and chamber engagements this year, and has been invited to give a recital in France to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of Frederick Chopin.

A team of expert appraisers from Bonhams Canada will offer identification and verbal appraisals of fine art and antique items at this popular annual event, now in its twelfth year. Funds raised from this annual event will help to support visual art programs at Cambridge Galleries.
Appointments are booked with payment only. Book by phone with a credit card or in person at Cambridge Galleries (1 North Square) with cash, cheque or credit card.
Appointments are limited so please book early. Note: Stamps, royal/war memorabilia or musical instruments will not be appraised at this event.

Cambridge Galleries Day Trip to Royal Ontario Museum

SCHOOL PROGRAMS

School programs with current curricular links are jointly presented by Cambridge Libraries and Cambridge Galleries.

2 Celebrate Canada is a school program for Grade 2 students. Using the theme of Celebrating Canada within the Heritage & Citizenship curriculum, students will enjoy a unique art workshop by creating a painted quilt.

Quest 4 is a medieval experience for Grade 4. Eagle Eye 6 is an aboriginal learning experience for students in Grade 6 and up.
Tours and hands-on workshops can be arranged in advance for school groups.

ARTS & SOUL
Come experience the arts in a supportive environment! The Arts and Soul Foundation provides artistic experiences on the first Wednesday of the month for anyone desiring to foster mental health.
